• ^{I believe it is our resposibility to be socially responsible by giving back in our community. I'm a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga, serve on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement, and active on various committees for the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, the Salvation Army, the Greater Chattanooga Realtors and St Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church.}
• ^{For 13 years I had the privilege of producing St. Francis of Assisi's annual Blessing of Animals wherein our four legged family members were invited to attend a special afternoon created just for them. And attended they did - typically 200+ animals and their families!}
• ^{Volunteering with Junior Achievement of Chattanooga has taken me back into a classroom - teaching high school students each semester the importance of personal finance and how to plan and budget for when they get out on their own. Helping JA raise funds for dedicated volunteers to present and share the curriculum for students takes a small village. Serving in varous volunteer capacities including chairing the Annual Auction Party and the Annual Golf Tournament  have been my way of assisting in the mission to reach 10,000+ students annually.}
